WHAT IS SIDE BY SIDE?
Side by Side is a new program that offers one-to-one support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy activities, build friendships, and get involved in their community. It is L’Arche Atlanta’s Community Access Individual (CAI) program.
The program brings people with and without disabilities together through shared interests. Assistants support people in joining local groups and activities where relationships can grow over time.
